Since 1996, Peters & Associates has provided forensic and investigative accounting services to over 150 insurance companies and law firms. Each partner brings more than 20 years of forensic accounting experience, resulting in unmatched knowledge, expertise and first-hand experience.

Quality accounting service requires skill and time. Typically, the firm routinely discusses with clients fee arrangements, progress in the matter, and details of specific invoices. The results of our investigations and analyses are typically provided to our clients in a written report. An engagement letter outlining services to be provided and fees to be charged is provided to clients prior to the start of any work. Clients are charged for accounting services based on time spent. To maintain our independence and integrity, in no situation does the firm provide services on a contingency basis. 

Additionally, whether we are retained as a consultant or as an expert witness, and whether or not we appear in court,  our standard hourly rates apply. You will find that the hourly rates charged by Peters & Associates are reasonable, especially given the levels of experience of our staff. Our accountants and staff maintain accurate records on time expended and services performed.
